La's Introduction & Welcome

 Hey there and welcome to my blog, La's Big World! First and foremost, I would like to thank you for visiting my blog today, and also I would just like to touch on the main purpose of my blog and what audience I'm truly targeting. La's Big World was created to be a blog where young girls of color could come and get #GirlCode advice, beauty and hair tips, health guidance, food recipes, and much much more. Also, you all will get to journey with me as I finish up my summer before commissioning into the United States Army. You all will get all the details of the ups and downs, and will basically know any and everything *lol*. But on a more serious note, today in the society we live in, our young queens of color don't truly have anyone to guide them unless there's someone directly in the household making sure that they are being taught true women of God values. While we are celebrating African American women being the most educated group in the year of 2016, we also need to pay attention to the much younger group that is either without a mother or father figure, getting pregnant at a significantly young age, and/or out on the streets making ends meet for a family they conceived at a premature age. As the owner of my blog, I want this to be a safe place for our young queens of color to come and be able to have a voice. I will make it my duty to educate our queens on African American culture (the right way), and just give insight on how to properly take care of their young bodies and cherish themselves like the queens they are. In the African American community we have too many people pointing the finger and not doing anything to change the outcome. I'm here to tell you, that I will change the outcome so that our queens whether light, dark, or brown will know their worth and never settle for anything less. With that being said, queens......
